Beyond operating hours until sunset: on request with surcharge.

VFR only: airplanes, advanced ultralights and helicopters.

Helicopters from 06:00 to 23:00.

The airport will be closed from 20 December 2019 to 10 January 2020.

The control tower (AFIU) is operational 07:00 – 15:00 UTC. Closed on Tuesdays. During the airport operating hours, please call LIPV Torre 118.525 (IT, EN)

Remember to close the flight plan when AFIU is not operational.

Before entering the Atz of Lido, still in contact with Padova Information (124.150 or 126.425) report your position: from the south: Malamocco PZS3. from the North-East: Jesolo PZE1

 

APPROACHES FROM SOUTH (CHIOGGIA AND MALAMOCCO)

You must reach Chioggia at a maximum Altitude 1,500 ’AGL avoiding the“ D1 ”area of Venice. After Chioggia you reach the Port of Malamocco (PZS3). You must leave the Padova frequency and contact the LIPV Tower on the frequency of 118.525 Mhz (IT / EN)

Max Altitude 1500 feet.

With wind and traffic permitting, the tower is asked to enter the left leeward for runway “23”. You will avoid flying over the houses of the Lido town center and avoiding a long trail to reach the parking area.

 

APPROACHES FROM EAST (JESOLO)

Jesolo (PZE1) must be reached at a maximum altitude of 1,500 feet, avoiding the “D2” area of Venice. You must leave the Padova frequency and contact the LIPV tower on the frequency of 118.525 Mhz (IT / EN)

Max altitude 1.500’AGL.
After Jesolo we reach “Ca’ Savio PZS1 “

With wind and traffic permitting, the tower is asked to direct a final for track “23”. You will avoid entering the sea in the right leeward 05 and the base above the houses of the Lido. In addition, you will not have to take a long trail to reach the parking area.

 

AIR TRACK AND WINDSOCK

Information on the track in use and on the direction and intensity of the wind will be indicated by the AFIU staff when operating. Wind and traffic allowing to use the left downwind for track “23”. AIRTRACK AND PARKING AREA

After landing, follow the tower’s instructions. Light airplanes and Advanced ULMs must park on the grass near the windsock or go to the fuel station if you need to refuel. If you need help with luggage, contact the tower who will inform the operations office that they will send someone to help. Heavy aircraft (PC12, Antonov, Bimotori) and helicopters park in the main square.
